When are the shops open onboard?

Our boutiques are open while the ship is at sea, typically when we are sailing outside territorial waters. Please note that shops remain closed while the ship is in port.

Where are the shops located on the ship?

Our retail boutiques are located on Deck 4, midship/aft.

What types of products do you sell onboard?

We offer an exclusive selection of luxury collections and unique brands.

Can I shop online or reserve items before sailing?

Yes. You may reserve your desired items from the Journey shop through your Explora Ambassador, and they will be added to your suite for your convenience.

What forms of payment are accepted in the shops?

You may charge purchases to your onboard account or pay directly using major credit cards.

In what currency are prices listed?

Explora Journeys operates in Euro (€) and US Dollar ($), depending on the ship’s itinerary and location.

Can I use my onboard credit to make purchases?

Yes, onboard credits can be used at The Journey Boutique. Please note they cannot be used in the Jewellery and Watches boutique.

Can I get a receipt or invoice for my purchase?

Yes. Receipts are issued automatically and can be reprinted upon request.

Can I purchase exclusive Explora Journeys merchandise?

Yes, guests can discover limited-edition collections and exclusive Explora Journeys merchandise available only onboard.

Can I find sustainable or locally sourced products onboard?

Absolutely. Explora Journeys is committed to conscious luxury, offering sustainably crafted goods and artisan pieces that reflect the DNA of the brand.

Is personal shopping or styling assistance available?

Yes, guests may request personalised shopping experiences on board or directly with brand ambassadors.

Will there be special retail events or trunk shows during the Journey?

Explora Journeys often hosts exclusive retail events, designer showcases, and luxury ateliers.  Details are shared in the Daily Programme.

Can I pre-order items before boarding?

Some Journeys may offer pre-order options for select products. Guests are encouraged to inquire with their Ambassador or Travel Advisor prior embarkation.

Are there limits to what I can buy duty-free?

Yes. Customs limits apply when returning home, and these vary by country (for example, on alcohol and perfume allowances). Our retail team will be happy to assist with further details onboard.

Do I need to declare my purchases when I return home?

Depending on your home country’s customs regulations, you may need to declare duty-free items exceeding your personal allowance.

Can I return or exchange an item I bought onboard?

Yes. Returns and exchanges are accepted within the same journey, with a valid receipt and original packaging. Our retail team will be happy to assist with further details onboard.

Are refunds credited to my onboard account or credit card?

Refunds are processed to the original method of payment.

What if my purchased item is defective?

Please bring the item to the boutique as soon as possible. Our team will inspect it and offer a repair, exchange, or refund, where applicable.

Can I gift-wrap an item?

Yes. Complimentary gift-wrapping services are available in all our boutiques.
