You travel a lot for tennis. What does travel mean to you?
Most of the time, travel is quite intense and focused. But when I do get a break, I really appreciate simplicity and comfort. It’s important to switch off and slow down mentally.

How important is balance in your life?
Balance is everything. To perform at a high level, you need full commitment, but you also need time to reset. If you don’t take that time, you lose clarity. That’s why I think being at sea is special — it naturally helps you slow down and reconnect.
