These are the terms and conditions, which apply to your World Journey with Explora Journeys, in addition to the standard Booking Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they are binding upon confirmation.
1. RESERVATION PROCEDURE AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE
* Applicable for the full World Journey segments only: Dubai–Barcelona (128 days), Dubai–New York (112 days), and Dubai–Miami (108 days).
1.1 Reservation Process
To proceed with a reservation, the Guest must contact the Company or one of the Company’s authorised Sales Agents or representatives. Guests shall be given the option to reserve a specific Journey and an Option Confirmation is sent by the Company to the Guest or to the Sales Agent.
Option period
- 7 days for reservations made up to 181 days before departure
- 3 days for reservations made between 180 days and 151 days before departure
- 1 day for reservations made within 150 days of departure
1.2 Acceptance of Terms
By reserving a Journey, the person making the reservation confirms, agrees and accepts that all persons named in the reservation request shall be bound by the reservation Terms & Conditions and that he/she has authority to accept these conditions on behalf of all the persons named on the reservation request.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Suite Categories.
1.3 Payment Requirements
The reservation will be confirmed once the required payment is received.
- For reservations made up to 181 days before departure date:
- A deposit of 25% of the total Journey Fare per person is required.
- The remaining 75% of the total Journey Fare must be paid by 180 days before Journey.
- For reservations made 180 days or less before departure date:
- Full payment (100%) of the total Journey Fare per person is required at the time of booking.
1.4 Payment Deadlines
The required payment (deposit or full fare, depending on reservation date) must be received within:
- 7 days for reservations made up to 181 days before departure.
- 3 days for reservations made between 180 days and 151 days before departure
- 1 day for reservations made within 150 days of departure.
Failure to comply with these payment deadlines will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation, and no Booking Confirmation.
2. CONTRACT AND JOURNEY FARE INCLUSIONS
2.1 Contract Confirmation
Every Journey is subject to availability at the time of reservation. Your contract with Explora Journeys is confirmed once the Booking Confirmation is issued.
2.2 Non-Payment
If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, Explora Journeys reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply cancellation charges (see Section 13).

World Journey-Only Enhancements*
* Applicable for the full World Journey segments only: Dubai–Barcelona (128 days), Dubai–New York (112 days), and Dubai–Miami (108 days).
PRE/POST JOURNEY INCLUSIONS
- International flights in Business Class (cancellation of the airline applies)
- Up to 6,000 EUR/USD of Business Class airfare per guest is included for the full round trip, full segments only, covering flights from any origin to Dubai and from Barcelona/New-York/Miami back to the origin. Any airfare cost exceeding 6,000 EUR/USD will be charged to the guest.
Flights need to be booked mandatorily via the Explora Journeys Air Team.
- One-night pre-Journey hotel stay in Dubai, including breakfast
- Dubai welcome evening: a celebratory Gala Dinner start to the World Journey
- Private door-to-door seamless transfers and luggage assistance from home to airport, airport to hotel, hotel to the ship and ship to airport.
- Luggage allowances per suite:
- Ocean Terraces & Ocean Penthouses: up to 4 checked bags plus 2 carry‑on items
- Ocean Residences: up to 6 checked bags plus 2 carry‑on items
- Owner’s Residences: no luggage limitation.
Please note: Airline baggage policies may vary and extra costs may apply based on luggage allowances.
- Personalised airport assistance at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Guests will be greeted at the arrival gate and escorted seamlessly through immigration and baggage claim before being guided to their private onward transfer.

Any medical costs beyond 1,000 EUR/USD, along with prescription medications, refills, or additional tests requiring arrangements at the next available port, remain the responsibility of the guest.

- 128-day Dubai - Barcelona: seven curated experiences, one for each Passage

- 1000 EUR/USD Journey Experience Credit per person only for 1st and 2nd guest. (Up to 2,000 EUR/USD per suite)
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of the reservation must be requested verbally or in writing (registered letter, email or fax) from the Guest or Guest’s Sales Agent and received by the Explora Experience Centre. All issued tickets and the confirmation invoice must be returned together with the notice of cancellation.
3.1 Cancellation charges are as follows:
- Until 350 days before departure: Non-refundable Administrative Fee of 500 EUR per person
- 349 days to 151 days before departure: 25%
- 150 days to 121 days before departure: 50%
- 120 days to 91 days before departure: 75%
- 90 days until departure: 100%
Exception for Germany and Austria only
- Until 350 days before departure: Administrative Fee of 500 EUR per person (double the usual admin fee converted into all selling currencies)
- 349 days to 151 days before departure: 25% of the Journey Amount (deposit)
- 150 days to 121 days before departure: 50%
- 120 days to 91 days before departure: 75%
- 90 days to 2 days before departure: 90%
- 2 days upon departure: 95%
