The Journey Experience Credit can be spent on Destination Experiences, immersive shore excursions that range from intimate small-group cultural tours and exclusive foodie experiences to private bespoke adventures, as well as rejuvenating treatments at Ocean Wellness – The Spa.
Are all Explora Journeys itineraries and ships bookable through Hilton?

Can I redeem my Hilton Honors Points to reserve a Journey? Will there be restrictions on Hilton Honors reward reservations?
Yes, Hilton Honors Points can be redeemed on all Explora Journeys sailings, except for Formula 1® Grand Prix de Monaco itineraries and packages. Reward bookings are subject to the Hilton Honors Terms & Conditions and Explora Journeys Booking Terms & Conditions, including applicable exclusions, availability, and booking requirements.
Can I add my Hilton Honors number to an existing Explora Journeys reservation?
No. Adding a Hilton Honors number to an existing Explora Journeys reservation would require the Guest to cancel and re-reserve (standard Explora Journeys cancellation policies apply). To qualify for Hilton Honors Member Benefits, you must be an existing Hilton Honors Member or enroll in the Hilton Honors program, and you must book through Hilton here - https://www.hilton.com/en/brands/explora-journeys-cruises/ or through the Explora Journeys Experience Center using Hilton’s dedicated customer support line.

How many Hilton Honors Points will I earn on my Explora Journeys reservation?
Hilton Honors Members who book through Hilton will earn 10 Base Points per $1 USD of eligible Journey fare, plus any applicable tier Bonus Points based on their Hilton Honors membership status. For eligible Journey fares paid in a non-USD currency, the fare will be converted to USD to calculate Hilton Honors Points earn.
Are there any restrictions or limits to the number of suites I can reserve and receive Hilton Honors Points?
Hilton Honors Members can earn Points on up to 4 suites per voyage.
Will my Explora Journeys reservation contribute to my Hilton Honors status progress through Nights, Stays, or Spend?
Yes, Explora Journeys reservations will count toward your eligible Nights, Stays, and Spend, helping you maintain your Hilton Honors elite status.
Does Explora Journeys have its own loyalty program? Can Members earn or redeem Points at Hilton properties?
Yes, Explora Journeys has its own loyalty program, ‘Explora Club.’ However, benefits and Points earned through the Explora Journeys loyalty program are separate from Hilton Honors and are not reciprocal.

Cancellations and no-shows are subject to Explora Journey’s cancellation policy. Cancelled reservations and no-shows are not eligible to earn Hilton Honors Points. Reward Stay reservations cancelled outside the applicable cancellation period, or resulting in a no-show, are subject to Hilton Honors Point deductions equal to the cancellation or no-show fee imposed by Explora Journeys.
Can Hilton Honors American Express Card Members redeem Free Night Rewards on Explora Journeys itineraries?
No, Free Night Rewards cannot be redeemed on Explora Journeys itineraries.
Are there benefits when using my Hilton Honors American Express Card to reserve an Explora Journeys itinerary?
Hilton Honors American Express Card Members may earn Points on eligible Explora Journeys purchases when reserving with their card, as outlined below:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card, Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card, and Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card Members can earn 3X Points for every $1 spent on Explora Journeys purchases.
- Hilton Honors American Express Business Card Members can earn 5X Hilton Honors Bonus Points for every $1 spent on Explora Journeys purchases made using the Hilton Honors Business Card on the first $100,000 in purchases each calendar year, 3X points thereafter.
Can Hilton Honors Members use Be My Guest certificates on Explora Journeys itineraries?
No, Be My Guest certificates are not redeemable on Explora Journeys itineraries.
I am traveling solo; can I still take advantage of the Hilton Honors Member offer?
Yes. Single travelers can take advantage of the Hilton Honors Member savings offered through this program.
When will I receive my Hilton Honors Points?
Hilton Honors Points will be automatically awarded to your account, though this can take up to 8 weeks after disembarkation.
I booked the Preview Offer. Can I earn or redeem Hilton Honors Points or receive on-board Hilton Honors benefits?
No. Only itineraries booked on or after July 9, 2026 are eligible for Hilton Honors Points earning and redemption, as well as Hilton Honors on-board benefits. Guests who wish to access these benefits must cancel and rebook their reservation but will be subject to Explora Journeys' standard cancellation and change policies.
