Explora Journeys Commences The Mediterranean Journeys Collection

Geneva, Switzerland – 2 April 2025 – Explora Journeys, the luxury lifestyle ocean travel brand of the MSC Group, has officially launched its Mediterranean Journeys Collection as the inaugural journey of the season set sail yesterday. Marking this milestone, EXPLORA II’s departure from Barcelona was celebrated alongside the grand opening of the state-of-the-art MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal.

With immersive Mediterranean journeys aboard EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, guests will experience the elegance, comfort, and discovery that define the Explora Journeys experience.

Until November 2025, guests are invited to embrace the Ocean State of Mind as they sail through the Western and Eastern Mediterranean enjoying the sun-drenched coastlines of Italy, Greece, Türkiye, France, and beyond. Guests embarking on or disembarking from EXPLORA II in Barcelona will enjoy a seamless arrival and departure experience at the new MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal, inaugurated on 3 April 2025. Designed by renowned Catalonian architecture firm Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, the terminal perfectly complements the elegance of the Explora Journeys experience. With expansive glass facades maximising natural light, the space offers an open, airy ambiance that enhances the connection to the sea, reflecting the refined comfort and intuitive service found on board.
