About Mike Horn
Mike Horn is a world-renowned adventurer and explorer with a wealth of experience in expeditions to some of the world’s most remote and challenging environments.
Among other feats, he has skied across the Arctic and Antarctic, swam down the Amazon River, and sailed solo around the world.
Through these experiences, he has developed a deep respect and admiration for the natural world, and often speaks about the importance of preserving its
beauty and diversity.
The time has come for Mike Horn to lead Explora Journeys guests on an expedition of their own.

Mike Horn on board EXPLORA II
Embark on A Journey of Caribbean Calm & Bahamian Bluefrom Miami, from 25 January to 4 February 2026. This 10-night journey visits Puerto Plata, Kralendijk, Oranjestad, Willemstad, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
Mike joins in Oranjestad on 30 Janurary for five nights of “Ocean Dialogues” at sea; intimate sessions exploring adventure, awareness, and ocean conservation. The journey concludes at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, where guests discover coral restoration efforts and sail Bahamian waters under Mike’s guidance.
