INTRODUCTION

Offer provides eligible Hilton Honors® Members the opportunity to earn and redeem Hilton Honors Points on qualifying Explora Journeys reservations, together with exclusive onboard recognition and benefits.

Participation in the program is subject to these Terms & Conditions and the Hilton Honors Terms & Conditions. In the event of any conflict, the Hilton Honors Terms & Conditions shall govern matters relating to Hilton Honors membership, Points earning, redemption and elite status, while the Explora Journeys Booking Terms & Conditions shall govern all matters relating to the reservation and the Journey.

PARTICIPATION

Unless otherwise indicated, all eligible Explora Journeys reservations made through the dedicated Hilton booking page or through the Explora Journeys Experience Center using Hilton’s dedicated customer support line (U.S. callers: +1 833‑320‑2826; International callers: +41 22‑561‑5652) are eligible to participate in the Hilton Honors Program subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Participation requires an active Hilton Honors membership.

ELIGIBLE RESERVATIONS

Hilton Honors Member benefits are available only on qualifying reservations made through Hilton’s dedicated booking channels (“Eligible Reservation”).

Eligible reservations may be made:

The following reservations are not eligible to earn or redeem Hilton Honors Points or receive Hilton Honors Member benefits:

  • Reservations made directly via explorajourneys.com;
  • Reservations made through Explora Journeys Ambassadors outside Hilton’s dedicated number;
  • Reservations made through travel agencies;
  • Online travel agencies (OTAs);
  • Corporate or B2B booking channels;
  • Reservations made through Global Distribution Systems, including Amadeus, Apollo/Galileo, Worldspan and SABRE;
  • Any other booking channel not expressly designated by Hilton and Explora Journeys.

Hilton Honors Member benefits require a confirmed Eligible Reservation.

The Hilton Honors Member name must match the lead guest name on the Explora Journeys reservation to be considered an Eligible Reservation.

Hilton Honors membership cannot be added retrospectively to an existing reservation.

Select Journeys are excluded from this offer including but not limited to: FORMULA 1® GRAND PRIX DE MONACO itineraries and packages. Additional excluded Journeys will be identified on the applicable booking page or during booking.

HILTON HONORS MEMBER BENEFITS

Hilton Honors Member benefits, including elite tier recognition, bonus Points earning and onboard benefits, are determined according to the Member’s Hilton Honors tier at the time of embarkation, not at the time the reservation is made.

The Hilton Honors Member savings available under this program apply to all guests staying in up to four (4) suites booked by an eligible Hilton Honors Member.

Hilton Honors Member benefits are provided only to the eligible Hilton Honors Member, except that any complimentary cocktail event benefit may be extended to one accompanying guest.

Silver Elite Members

In addition to Member benefits:

  • 20% Hilton Honors Bonus Points
  • Signature Loyalty Delight

Gold Elite Members

In addition to Silver benefits:

  • 80% Hilton Honors Bonus Points
  • Surprise ritual or signature gift
  • Exclusive cocktail event with ship leadership

Diamond Elite Members

In addition to Gold benefits:

  • 100% Hilton Honors Bonus Points
  • Complimentary laundry service (one bag per Journey)
  • Journey Experience Credit consisting of:
    • 100 Journey Experience Credit for Ocean Wellness
    • 100 Journey Experience Credit for Destination Experiences

Diamond Reserve Members

In addition to Diamond benefits:

  • 120% Hilton Honors Bonus Points
  • Complimentary laundry service (one bag per day)
  • Behind-the-scenes Bridge Tour (subject to operational availability)
  • One private transfer from airport to the port (up to 80km / 50 miles)

Benefits are available only for Eligible Reservations and are subject to availability, operational requirements, safety, security, itinerary conditions and applicable law. Explora Journeys may provide a comparable substitute benefit if a listed benefit is unavailable.

Benefits are non-transferable, non-refundable and hold no cash value.

  • Executive Lounge Access
  • Digital Check-in
  • Choose Your Room

  • Free Night Rewards
  • Fifth Night Free Reward
  • Digital Key

HILTON HONORS POINTS EARNING

Hilton Honors Members earn ten (10) Base Points for every one U.S. Dollar spent on eligible Journey Fare (as defined in Explora Booking Terms and Conditions).

Points are earned on the eligible Journey Fare only.

Points are not earned on ancillary purchases, including but not limited to:

  • Food and beverage
  • Spa services
  • Ocean Wellness treatments
  • Destination Experiences
  • Retail purchases
  • Boutique purchases
  • Casino gaming
  • Gratuities
  • Port charges
  • Taxes and fees
  • Air arrangements
  • Insurance
  • Transfers
  • Land programs
  • Any onboard expenditure not included in the eligible Journey Fare.

Points are awarded after completion of the Journey and once full payment has been received.

Please allow six to eight weeks following Journey completion for the posting of Points to Member’s account.

Hilton Honors Members may earn Points on up to four (4) suites per Journey, provided all reservations are booked in the Hilton Honors Member's name as the lead guest.

Eligible Journeys count towards Hilton Honors qualifying Nights, Stays and eligible Spend in accordance with the Hilton Honors Program terms and conditions.

HILTON HONORS POINTS REDEMPTION

Hilton Honors Members may redeem Hilton Honors Points towards eligible Explora Journeys reservations subject to the Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions.

Reward reservations are available across eligible Explora Journeys sailings with no blackout dates or dedicated reward inventory restrictions, subject to program availability, applicable exclusions, these Terms & Conditions, the Hilton Honors Terms & Conditions, and the Explora Journeys Booking Terms & Conditions.

Free Night Rewards, Be My Guest certificates and other Hilton promotional certificates cannot be redeemed towards Explora Journeys reservations.

JOURNEY EXPERIENCE CREDIT

Journey Experience Credit (“JEC”) is available exclusively to eligible Diamond and Diamond Reserve Members.

Eligible Members receive:

  • 100 Journey Experience Credit for Ocean Wellness experiences;

and

  • 100 Journey Experience Credit for Destination Experiences.

The JEC is provided once per eligible Hilton Honors Member per Journey, regardless of the number of suites booked by that Member.

Journey Experience Credit is issued in the onboard operating currency applicable to the booked Journey.

For Back-to-Back Journeys booked as a single reservation, the Journey Experience Credit is granted only once.

Onboard currency varies according to the itinerary. The following itineraries operate with Euro:

  • Mediterranean & Western Europe
  • Northern Europe
  • Iceland & Greenland
  • Red Sea & Arabian Peninsula
  • Grand Journeys between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea & Arabian Peninsula

 The following itineraries operate with USD:

  • Caribbean & Central America
  • Alaska
  • South America & Amazon
  • Central & North America Pacific Coast
  • US & Canada East Coast & New England
  • Transatlantic Grand Journeys

Journey Experience Credit may be used onboard only.

Journey Experience Credit may not be redeemed towards:

  • Luxury monobrand boutiques, including Rolex, Cartier, Piaget, Panerai and Buccellati;
  • Casino credits or advances;
  • Cash withdrawals;
  • Gratuities;
  • Donations to the MSC Foundation;
  • Host Lifestyle Fund contributions.

Journey Experience Credit is non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash value and expires at 18:00 on the final evening of the Journey. Any unused balance will be forfeited.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

For reservations made in whole or in part using Hilton Honors Points, any refund or return of Points will be processed in accordance with the Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions and the applicable Explora Journeys cancellation policy. Cancellation charges or penalties may reduce the amount of Points returned to the Member’s Hilton Honors account.

DATA PROTECTION

Explora Journeys and Hilton process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and their respective privacy notices.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Explora Journeys reserves the right to cancel or refuse any reservation where fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity is suspected.

Program benefits may be amended, suspended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

Neither Explora Journeys nor Hilton Honors shall be liable for any delay, omission or technical failure affecting the accrual or redemption of Hilton Honors Points.

  • Third and Fourth Guest Offers
  • Solo Traveler Offers
  • For Your Service
  • Best Available Fare

  • Journey Together
  • Onboard Offe
  • Open Deposit Bookings

This program is not combinable with:

  • Incentive or Corporate Groups
  • Explora Club and Referral program
  • Consortia amenities
  • Hosted programs
  • Reduced promotional or non-public fares unless otherwise stated

GOVERNING TERMS

These Terms & Conditions supplement and do not replace the Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions or the Explora Journeys Booking Terms and Conditions.  For matters not expressly addressed herein, the applicable terms and conditions shall apply.

Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
