   Enjoy the rich buzz of Lisbon. Dip into the city’s strong architectural, cultural and historical connections. Wander charming-cobbled streets, colourful buildings, the river Sado and endless nature. Pilgrimage to Fatima, tour hilly villages, learn Portuguese cooking techniques and listen to the Lisbon blues. Slip to charming Cascais for quieter energy and golden beaches. And as you bathe in the captivating light, enjoy plates of petiscos which - like fado - you’ll soon discover is vibrant, warm and most appealing.
2. Day 2 , Leixões (Porto), Portugal 2026-08-11 Arrival 08:00 Departure 18:00
   The Portuguese know their port. Quinta do Infantado was the first estate to bottle fortified wine. Between the churches, arts, restaurants, music and neoclassical structures, there’s so much more to taste. Explore historic wonders, rolling hillsides, terracotta rooftops, granite buildings and even more wineries. With bars and restaurants on every piazza corner, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to try the rich pasteis de nata. Savour this port in the light coastal breeze and share stories by the shimmering ocean.
3. Day 3 , La Coruña, Spain 2026-08-12 Arrival 09:00 Departure 19:00
   Emerald greens and Spanish blues beckon at this under-the-radar enclave on the scalloped coast of Galicia. Seemingly created to inspire love-struck poets, this sonnet of a city sings of lively markets, a thriving culinary scene, and lapping golden-sand beaches. UNESCO declared its significance at the Tower of Hercules, built by the Romans in the 2nd century, which has watched the waves for 2,000 continuous years. Stroll narrow streets to the city’s Medieval heart, the Ciudad Vieja, and pretty Plaza de Maria Pita which is crowned by domes, steeples and statues. Head to the Pescadería neighbourhood – Calle Estrella and beyond – for grilled octopus, cockles, and tapas washed down with white Albariño wine. Stroll past the scarlet lamp posts on the Paseo Marítimo coastal promenade, conquer the Castle of San Antón on its islet, then leave footprints on the sandy Praia de Riazor beach.

   Connect avant-garde audacity with 14^th-century sensibility and you have Bilbao, the ever-evolving soul of Spain’s Basque country. Start with the sinuous titanium-clad curves and sharp granite angles of Guggenheim Museum, an imposing edifice for international art. Explore the medieval Old Town, where Siete Calles (Seven Streets) lead to Plaza Nueva with its pretty porticoes, glorious Santiago Cathedral, and petite pintxos tapas bars serving bubbly txakoli wine.    The jewel in the crown of the Médoc, Pauillac is a well-regarded commune and appellation in Bordeaux's Médoc peninsula and famed home to five First Growth (Premier Grand Cru) wines: Château Lafite Rothschild; Château Latour; Château Mouton Rothschild.     The ‘summer city’ of Mandal welcomes us to its sunny beachfront and lovely harbour for an afternoon of history, architecture, and fresh fare from the ocean. Stroll along an 800km stretch of golden Sjøsanden Beach, explore the city's pier, venture into the archipelago, visit museums, or find peace in Norway’s largest wooden church. Established by King Eric of Pomerania as a major salmon trading station, Mandal has morphed into one of the prettiest harbours lined by whitewashed houses. Descend to the Lindesnes lighthouse to find small lakes and coves dotted with isolated islands. Tour the birthplace of Gustav Vigeland, one of Norway's greatest artists, where his quest for spirituality began.

    At the edge of the Norwegian fjords, Sandnes offers a gentler rhythm of discovery. From its charming, walkable town centre, wander along Langgata’s boutiques and cafés or to the waterfront promenades lined with tranquil parks. Venture outward to the sweeping beaches of Jæren and the scenic North Sea Road, where lighthouses and dunes meet the wind. Beyond, the gateway to Lysefjord and the legendary Pulpit Rock invites breathtaking vistas and quiet awe — nature’s grandeur, without the crowds.

12. Day 12 , Olden, Norway 2026-08-21 Arrival 09:00 Departure 18:00
    Ethereal, exhilarating and nestled 100km within an extremely steep-sided fjord, Olden opens us to the lapis lazuli blue Briksdal Glacier, notable as part of the greater Jostedal Glacier, which is the largest glacier on Europe’s mainland. Hike, boat, then whoosh from fjord to sky in minutes on the Loen Skylift for heavenly views and sips of wine at cliff’s edge. Lean into nature at lovely Lovatnet Lake, where emerald green glacier waters make the perfect backdrop for a picnic, then shop amongst flower-bright houses for home-made cakes and folk art in Olden’s town centre.
13. Day 13 , Bergen, Norway 2026-08-22 Arrival 09:00 Departure 19:00
    Lovingly known as the ‘heart of the fjords’, this city nestled between seven mountains has plenty to live up to. Burrowed between the mighty Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord fjords – the biggest in Norway – the sensational beauty of Bergen is best appreciated from the top of the funicular, Fløibanen. Flightsee around the peak for a summit advantage to enjoy panoramic views of this city’s beauty. Hike to Fløyen or mountain bike to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Bryggen, before winding down to the sound of calming piano recitals honouring Edvard Grieg Troldhaugen. Raft, crab, kayak or head to a local farm. With lungs full of fresh air and hearts full of love, sink into seafood heaven at the historic fish market to consume mouth-watering Bergen fish soup, fish cakes and customary persetorsk.
14. Day 14 , Flåm, Norway 2026-08-23 Arrival 09:00 Departure 18:00
    Nested deep between towering mountains are narrow valleys, a mile-deep fjord and a little village called Flåm. Surrounded by breathtaking beauty, visit the Borgund Stave Church museum or board the astonishing Flåmsbana train, often titled the world's most beautiful rail journey. Climb aboard and witness waterfalls, fjords and farms so remote you wonder how they got there. Fish, cycle or experience a RIB safari through the slender Nærøyfjord - part of the UNESCO world heritage - as you appreciate the surreal landscape.     Rejoice in one of the happiest and most vibrant capital cities in the world. Relax like a local alongside joyful Danes and varied culture; the Gefion Fountain, the Little Mermaid statue, Old Citadel, the Amalien Palace with four Rococo buildings, medieval history, charming fishing villages, leading examples of sustainable living and - of course - flaky Danish pastries. Cycling is the preferred way to shuttle across town and it’s well worth the pedal to enjoy the trendy, cosy neighbourhood of Norrebro, Christiansborg Palace and the waterfront home of Christian Andersen. Genuine, vibrant and welcoming... rather like the smiles of those that live here.
