- To be eligible for Travel Advisor Fares, the applicant must:
- Provide confirmation they are a full-time Travel Advisor currently employed by or affiliated as an Independent Contractor with, or Franchisee owner of, a recognized travel agency for a minimum of six (6) months at the time of the request;
- Be registered on the Explora Travel Advisor Centre;
- Complete the Knowledge Suite modules;
- Accept and sign the Travel Advisor Fare Code of Conduct and TA Fares Agreement;
- Subject to the approval from your agency owner along with that of the Explora Journeys Sales Leader overseeing your territory.
- All bookings are cruise-only, non-commissionable and non-transferable. Air, ground transportation and hotel accommodations are available for purchase at full fare and non-commissionable unless otherwise specified.
- Rates are cruise-only, per person, and based on double occupancy. Single Rate is charged at 150% of the offered double occupancy fare. Third/fourth berths will be fared at the offered double occupancy fare as follows: 0% (free) per infant (6 months - up to 2 years, not including 2 years of age), 50% per child (2-17 y/o inclusive), 75% per adult.
- Fares are inclusive of the following:
- Unlimited beverages, fine wines and premium spirits, speciality coffees, teas and soft drinks available anytime, including in-suite mini-bar.
- All on-board gratuities.
- Unlimited, high-speed Wi-Fi.
- Taxes, fees and port charges.
- Standard terms and conditions apply.
- Bookings priced at Travel Advisor Fares are not combinable with any other promotional offer.
- Confirmation of Travel Advisor Fare sailings is based on availability and will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis at the discretion of Explora Journeys. All confirmed advisors will be contacted by an Explora Journeys representative at that time by e-mail. Please do not call for the status of a confirmation.
- Travel Advisor Fare bookings will be placed in the best available Ocean Terrace Suite category. Paid category upgrades are always based on availability. The fare is based on the prevailing rate of the desired suite category and will follow the standard payment terms and conditions.
- Two bookings may be reserved per Travel Advisor per year. We will only allow one additional suite for immediate family members to be booked at the Travel Advisor Fare. Travel Advisor Fares are applicable to two (2) Single Journeys, one (1) single and one (1) Extended Journey, or one (1) Grand Journey per year.
- All reservations made under the Travel Advisor Fares Programme are subject to the standard cancellation policy. No name changes will be allowed.
- Existing full-fared bookings cannot be converted to a Travel Advisor Fares reduced rate booking.
- The Travel Advisor is responsible for researching and obtaining the necessary visas and immunizations when required.
- Explora Journeys reserves the right to deny a Travel Advisor Fare request at any time for any reason.
- Based on capacity and inventory needs, a Travel Advisor Fare booking may be cancelled and refunded.
- Travel Advisor Fares are strictly confidential and must not be discussed with other guests.
- Bookings priced at Travel Advisor Fares are not eligible to receive Journey Experience Credits.
- All standard forms of payment are accepted excluding personal or agency checks. You may call the Explora Experience Centre to request a payment link at any time.
- Onboard solicitation of Explora Journeys’ guests by a Travel Advisor is forbidden and will not be tolerated. Should a complaint be made against a Travel Advisor, for solicitation or any other disturbance of our guests, the advisor may be asked to disembark at any time, at the ship’s discretion, and at the Travel Advisor’s expense.
- Travel Advisor Fare travel is a privilege and professional courtesy to enhance your knowledge and ability to sell Explora Journeys. Professionalism is expected at all times. Any Travel Advisor exhibiting disrespectful or inappropriate behavior onboard, will not be welcomed to sail with us in the future and can be disembarked at any time, at the ship’s discretion and at the Advisor’s expense.
- Failure to comply with the rules and regulations set forth in this document will result in automatic cancellation of Travel Advisor Fares bookings as well as the agency’s loss of reduced rate consideration and privilege.
